Chad is keeping busy with school, football and his acting stuff. He is keeping up straight A's which is allowing him to take time off here and there for his acting pursuits. We tried theatre and it's been a great learning experience! Chad auditioned for Willy Wonka singing a Jonas Brothers song and got the role of Charlie! I know I'm his mom, but he was amazing! He had a couple solos and had to tap dance - keep in mind he had never done theatre before! I think he has the bug. He'll be playing Bert Healy in Annie at the end of May and Gavroche in Les MIserables in June. He always wanted to sing so now he is! He's also getting pretty good on the drums. Yesterday he had a call back for Lake House a movie with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade. That was fun cuz we got to explore the Sony Studios lot - makes the ride to LA a little more worth it!! His big love is still football and just playing with his friends so fortunately he is just busy enough to keep things in balance.
I am writing this letter to you today not only to inform you of all the wonderful projects Coby has been involved in since his return from the amazing Ipop at los Vegas , but also to share with you some of the highlights of an incredible journey Coby and I started just a short while ago. It all began with " Mommy I want to be an actor so that everyone can watch me on the big screen." I took his words seriously and observed his passion for the movies and realized that if I was going to help my son and make his dreams come true I had to take a serious approach. I personally had no idea where to begin. By luck I came across an information desk about JRP and filled out a flyer to obtain more information about acting and modeling. I received an invitation for an audition at JRP and the rest is history. I was so impressed with the school and all the professional staff here at Jrp that I signed him up immediately. After all there is no time to waist when you are pursuing your dreams. Coby immediately became friends with the entire staff and he attended every single class offered and available to him. With each day that went by he grew more confident and had more fun. Nothing was impossible, nothing was out of reach. He had a goal and he was focused. He had the tools and the guidance. He was ready. Just as I thought things couldn't get any more exciting, he was auditioned and picked to attend the iPop convention in los Vegas. What an unbelievable experience that was. I had never seen Coby so relaxed and in his element. He had so much fun during the week that he didn't want the trip to end. When I look back at it all, I realize that it was hard work, weeks and weeks of preparation both on his part, mine and the entire iPOP staff but it was all worth it. 
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible guidance and leadership during the months leading to the big event. You spared no details. You worked hard and consistently delivered excellence. I can only hope and pray that any parent who happens to have a child with a dream like mine will be lucky enough to cross paths with you and your organization. Coby continues to value your opinion and pulls from the lesson's you have taught him in preparing for every single audition. Thanks to iPOP Coby was able to sign with one of the most reputable agencies in the west coast "KSR". He has been working with them since July 2008 following his return from IPOP. He has been sent on numerous audition and has had a lot of call backs. He just finished shooting his first commercial "ARMY" and will be shooting his first movie "unthinkable" starring Samuel l.Jackson on Nov.18-08. I can not thank you enough and your entire staff at JRP who are simply amazing. Keep up the excellent work. Please know that you are loved and appreciated by many for all that you do every single day.
