Thank You for making the 2008 San Diego Race for Autism a Success!

We at NFAR would like thank each of you for your participation and support of the 2008 San Diego Race for Autism. Whether you joined us as a sponsor, fundraiser, volunteer or participant, there was no way we could have done without you! The 4th Annual 5K Race, 1-mile Family Fun Walk and Resource Fair was our best Race ever with a record 2,700 attendees. A total of $150,000 was raised at this event! Proceeds of the Race are used exclusively in San Diego for the development and expansion of pilot programs and services that benefit children with autism in our community. Through our grant programs, NFAR is helping children with autism by: Creating and/ or expanding existing programs; Funding studies to improve treatment and assure the efficacy of treatment programs; Providing outreach to underserved populations; and Providing for the immediate needs at the classroom level.
