Hello Team!
Are you still iPOPing???!!!! I'm still floating a bit on my iPOP high! It's been
known for performers to feel this way for many more weeks.
You were all absolutely amazing! We are very proud of your performances, your
attitudes, your perseverance, your stamina and especially the results...100%
CALL BACKS! Please take a moment to revel in your accomplishments.
What's next...
CALL BACKS (most important)
1. Please send me a list of your call backs with the status/instructions. Please
see attached list from the Nichols as an example. Name the document with the
performer's first and last name. Please include the agents names who verbally
advised you were on their list, but were not listed on our call back sheet.
2. Please be sure to follow-up with all of your call backs. If the agent provided
you specific instructions, please follow them.
3. If an agent advised they would be in contact with the iPOP Director, please
be sure to provide me a list of those agents and I will follow-up with them on
your behalf.
4. If no instructions were provided- standard procedure is to wait a few more
days before calling the agent(s) for follow-up and to schedule appointments.
The agents are also exhausted from the iPOP event and will need some time to
settle.
5. If you were not able to meet with all of your call backs, don't worry. I will
call them now and let them know you were not able to meet with them during
iPOP. They will understand.
Word of Advice
As you start to meet with your call backs, don't sign with the first one to offer a
contract. Meet with all of your call backs, then make your decision. Be up front
and honest with your intentions and specific desires relating to a career, i.e.
number of auditions you can attend in a month, etc. If you need help or advice,
please call me to discuss.
