Common Questions
My child has almost completed his/her workshop. What should I do? PDF Print E-mail

Your Next 10-Week Session

Pick up a new schedule from the front lobby or from jrpsocal.com when your current

10-week session is close to completion. Please request the class that is of interest & fits into your schedule by posting your selection in the

Open-Workshop binder located @ the front desk.

You will be automatically enrolled into your class of choice. Make note of the start date and just show up for the class you have selected unless told otherwise. You will be contacted if there is any problem with your selected class.

Can I enroll over the phone? Or by E-mail? PDF Print E-mail

State your child’s name, age, and choice of class.

How do I check what workshops I’m eligible for? PDF Print E-mail

It should be written on the first page of your contract, where it states the name of your program; ie. 20 week, Elite Beginner, etc. Also, check course descriptions on this site to find out what courses apply to the program you are in. If not, ask the school director or your talent scout. In addition, a Class Schedule is published the first week of every month and is available in the front front lobby area and at jrpsocal.com. The class schedule specifies which classes are for beginners, intermediate students, advanced students, & Elite Members.

Make-Up Classes

You are allowed 3 make-ups per 10-week session. Please keep track of your absences. The best way to utilize the time you have here @ JRP is to save all of your absences from 2-3 10-week sessions combined. You may then redeem your accumulated absences after the completion of your program. Redeem your make-ups by signing up for a new 10-week session, & attend that course for the number of make-ups you are owed.

Ex/ After 3 10-week sessions, the number of make-up classes accumulated is 8, sign up for a new class and attend only for 8 weeks.

How will I know the dates for Agent Day? PDF Print E-mail
There are many ways:
  • A flyer is posted at the front lobby area and is updated on a continual basis.
  • Posted on the bulletin board in FACES
  • The Website. www.jrpsocal.comYou must take responsibility for your own success, so be proactive about checking for auditions.

Do I need to notify you if I am unable to attend a workshop or Audition? PDF Print E-mail

Please call us and let us know if you will not be attending your workshop. Please provide us with as much information as possible (workshop name, time and instructor). You do not need to tell us if you will be unable to attend an audition, nor do you need to set an appointment unless specified.

How soon should I have photos done? PDF Print E-mail

Of course, the sooner the better. Agent Days will start immediately. The most professional thing you can bring to an audition is a headshot and resume. It is your business card in this industry!
